Taxes are a necessary evil to fund the "proper" functions of government. Outside of that, they are simply evil.

There is no reason that the State should get a penny when you die. As they say, "You can't take it with you" so normally everything you leave behind should be able to be passed on to your family members such as your spouse, children, and relatives.

But the Liberals say that your family shouldn't get it all. They want part of it for themselves. Hence, the legalized looting of your possessions via the Death Tax as it is called. That is simply immoral. But, immorality is what Liberals are all about.

Income taxes
Property Taxes
Estate taxes (Death Tax)
Capital gains taxes

Again, taxes are a necessary evil to fund the "proper" functions of government. So, if you believe the government should build roads, a gas tax that is solely used to pay for road infrastructure and not diverted to other expenditures (such as mass-transit which should be funded solely by its own revenue sources) would be acceptable.

Under the current system of taxing property, your property is whittled away unless you keep earning money to pay the tax on it. All taxation should be in the form of consumption taxes and usage fees. Anything else is simply immoral.
